Facility Security Officer

2011-011 | Part Time | Vienna, Virginia

We currently have an immediate position available for a Facility Security Officer (FSO) to manage oversight of day-to-day security operations in support of multiple government agencies. The selected candidate will ensure compliance with government regulations, coordinate security inspections, manage background security investigations, and facilitate the use of e-QIP and JPAS software.

Minimum Qualifications:

• B.S. degree in Security, Business Management, or related experience.
• 3+ years professional specialized experience as an FSO.
• Comprehensive experience with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM).
• Completion of all required Defense Security Service FSO training requirements.
• Experience with preparation and submission of form DD254
• Excellent communication and organizational skill is required.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Must hold an Active TS Clearance.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure security compliance with government regulations
• Coordinate and manage security audits ensuring successful security inspections.
• Maintain and conduct security briefings for employees.
• Interact with Senior Management, Teaming Partners and Government Representatives.
• Coordinate site visit requests for personnel and passing of clearances.
• Perform secure document control and transmittal operations.
• Manage and operate e-QIP and JPAS software.
• Coordinate foreign travel of personnel.
• Domestic travel as needed.
