Software Engineer

We currently have an immediate position available for a Software Engineer to support development and rollout of next generation products and services in Geospatial, Wireless Telecommunications, and Cloud Computing industries.  As a member of our core software engineering team, you will have an exciting and challenging opportunity to build “real-world” products from the ground up that revolutionize the way our customers visualize, analyze, and disseminate petabytes of data and information.

Minimum Qualifications:

• B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, related field, or relevant experience.
• 5+ years professional software development with Java and Python.
• Experience developing web based applications using AJAX and REST.
• Strong working knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (EC2, S3) a plus.
• A passion and drive for relentless innovation is required.

Responsibilities:

• Play a key role in the design, development, and implementation of our products and services in the Geospatial, Wireless Telecommunications, and Cloud Computing industries.
• Contribute your ideas and concepts to drive the future of our product roadmap.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and leadership to team members.
• Translate from whiteboard to code through requirements analysis, use cases, and coding.
• Drive concepts to reality for next generation products.
• Domestic and International travel as needed.
